Vote Tim Pinkerton City Council Ward 5

I am running for Simpsonville City Council Ward 5 in 2023.

My goals and beliefs include a Simpsonville that is Safe, Secure and promotes Quality of Life for its Citizens. Within that framework I believe in promoting small businesses, regulating/managing growth and improving/maintaining our Infrastructure.

My wife Tracie and two children, John and Abby moved to Simpsonville 30 years ago. We transferred here with Fluor Inc. (Daniel) and I worked as a Project Manager for Fluor until I retired in 2020.

Locally I was assigned to various projects. I was the Construction Manager on the Bi-Lo Center now Bon Secours Wellness Arena. My work eventually had me traveling to many projects including locations in Grand Cayman, Abu Dhabi and the Netherlands. Within the States I worked on Projects in South and North Carolina, Northern VA (DC), New York and Maryland and many other areas all of which involved infrastructure, roads and bridges and commercial buildings.

As a Project Manager I had P&L responsibilities and had many employees under my charge several of which I mentored to promote their growth. My work experience and geographic exposure has benefited me greatly over the years. Managing and Growing is what I do. Let me help manage growth in Simpsonville for you!

As a long time resident of the Poinsettia neighborhood I serve on the Poinsettia Community Club Board as President and have a strong interest in representing and supporting the citizens of the community.

Thank you for all who came out and supported me on Tuesday (7th). We won the election for City Council. The journey begins in January 2024.

Simpsonville’s Ward Maps have been recently updated and Wards have been realigned since the last election in 2021. In Simpsonville you can vote for all Wards. Wards 1, 3 and 5 are up for election in 2023.

You can find Simpsonville’s Ward Map here.

Ward 5 includes but not limited to the following neighborhoods:

Poinsettia, Powderhorn, Cedar Cove, Chancellor’s Park, Heritage Village, Heritage Creek, Heritage Crossing, Bryson Meadows, Holliston, The Settlement, Howards Park, Windy Ridge, The Oaks at Fowler and others.

As your representative I will seek alternatives to our burden some traffic problems, upgrade and maintain our infrastructure, especially storm water and responsible, common sense growth that does not place the onus on the homeowner tax base!
